Hi, I've read up on every post on this forum, with replies from @eskimo.

When I run security find-identity -p codesigning

Policy: Code Signing
 Matching identities
   0 identities found

 Valid identities only
   0 valid identities found

Even though I have multiple private keys for certificates in my (login) keychain.

Codesign gives "specified item could not be found in keychain". If I use automatic signing or manual signing.

I also tried with new macbook user and new certs, same result.

this was a problem with migrating data from old intel macbook to m1 macbook, keychain got broken for some reason :) had to reset to factory settings
