The iPadOS 16 on my m1 iPad Pro cannot connect to my LG 31.5 inch screen for the new feature of stage manager. It only worked like the old version, to mirror the iPad to the screen. The setting sits can detect the LG screen but it only mirrors the contacts out.

Same problem. On a previous generation ipad pro than m1s. I see my external display in the display & brightness but no “arrangement” option so that I can toggle off the mirror mode. There is no other way to get out of the mirror mode. I suspect the older generation is the reason that they didn’t enable the extended mode for those devices…
