like many of the public beta users, I too had upgraded both my iPad Pro and iPhone 13 Pro as soon as it became available.
as I was able to routinely download the updates on my iPhone 13 Pro, my iPod pro was not updating at all. Usually bot operating systems would be available almost simultaneously. After updating 3 betas on my iPhone, none was updating on my iPad Pro. So I decided to check on the installation profile. Then I saw the installation profile was missing from the iPad Pro while was still in the iPhone.
wondering, are there any known hacking exploitations on those devices with iOS 16 beta, since the beta version could still be vulnerable to the hackers?
thought maybe the hackers want to delete the installation/update profiles to prevent the device from updating important security features.
of course I managed to download the profile again and then managed to update it to the latest version.
on the hunch, the Wi-Fi connection is dropping every a few minutes. Not sure if it’s related to the missing profile, because it was not updating the newer versions, or it’s related to something else.
unfortunately the Apple feedback assistant doesn’t address much of the problems. Sometimes I’m referring to a specific issue, apple just throws a bundle of problems or possibilities.
