Revoke app licenses from a location in Apple Business Manager

Hi,

I've switched MDM providers a few months ago, and I had to create a test location in Apple Business Manager to try app licensing. Once all my users had switched to the new MDM provider, I wanted to remove my test location. But, some apps are still showing as "In use". My old MDM provider has no more devices enrolled. I've even decoupled my VPP token from it. But, with all that, ABM still shows that apps are in use.

Is there a way to force ABM to revoke app licenses from a location, so that we can safely delete them?

Hey ActiQL,

This is likely due to a mismatch of assignment counts between Apple and your prior MDM. If you install the sToken for your prior test location in to your new MDM, you should be able to see current assignments and unassign them. You should then be able to install your new sToken and see the assets available.
