I am new to mac and Xcode and trying to fit my Android application to iphone app as well. Obviously I mistook this steep learning curve I will have to go through to get started.
I bought a new Mac book Air iOS 10.12.3 and installed xcode 8.2.1 and trying to write a foodTracker sample as my Hello World. My problem is it all works when I deploy this to iPhone (Which I also bought just to migrate my app ) but when I start simulator I get half blck screen with two icons below one for safari and one for messages. When the app is launched I only get a white blank screen with not even a battery icoan anywhere.
Not sure how to proceed with this really.
