Command+Tab only between windows on this Desktop?

Hi, I have a few desktops. The natural way I would like to use them is that I have all my things for project 1 on Desktop 1 and all my things for project 2 on Desktop 2. I spend 2 hours a day working on project 1, I would like to switch and start working on Project 2.

This was all been working extremely well in the Ubuntu ecosystem with Gnome installed and it feels so natural and intuitive. You know, like it is a Desktop. You move from one Desktop where you do work 1 to another Desktop where you do work 2.

But I can't figure out a way to do it with Mac OS. When I am on Desktop 2 and I do Command+Tab to switch between the windows on Desktop 2, I see the windows from Desktop 1.

Because there are 5-6 windows on Desktop 1 and 5-6 windows on Desktop 2, what happens is that even though I am on Desktop 2 and I want to switch only between the windows on Desktop 2, I also see the windows on Desktop 1.

What should I do to configure Mac OS to properly manage the desktops and the windows? How can I configure it to show me only the windows from desktop 2 when I am on Desktop 2?
