Ventura - External Displays not working

I have been using Ventura on my MacBook Pro (2018) since the early days and haven't had any issues until beta 7. Since beta 7, my external 5k (LG 49WL95C) monitor no longer works.

The screen goes completely garbled, I can see the mouse cursor, but everything else is completely distorted.

I have tried using a USB-C direct into the monitor, as well as a USB-C to DisplayPort. When I use a USB-C to an HDMI dongle, I can get it to work as a 4k.

What else can I do?

  • I have tried there as well, so has many others, Since I still run a beta, I am hoping someone from Apple will actually read these and provide support!
