Error when submitting Push to PNS with new certificate

I have created a new PNS certificate today using OpenSSL and following our usual process.

When I submit Push to PNS with this new certificate I get the following error :

[ERROR]-com.server.pns: Exception in sendMessageToiPhone :Keystore exception: parseAlgParameters failed: ObjectIdentifier() -- data isn't an object ID (tag = 48)

I would be grateful for any help in diagnosing/resolving this.
