Dear you,
Maybe I'm posting this on the wrong forum and if I am please let me know and refer me to the right forum - if you have that info.
I have someone in my network who is in love with my data and will try to obtain it by any means possible. So I am trying to take control of this and learn how to defend myself. Which is not easy. I have been figuring out how to use nmap and did an -F -n -Pn scan. What I noticed is that my apple TV 1st version is connecting to 5 ports. Three are unknown, one upnp and port 21 is connecting to ftp and on port 22 to ssh. Port 21 is not registered as a port that Apple uses and from what I know ftp is not secure (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202944). So why would Apple use that? Furthermore I found a first generation (my model) Apple TV hack for creating an ftp server on an Apple tv using these ports. My datalover had access to my house in the past.
Sorry if I'm wasting your time with a paranoid question but help is welcome.
Best,
XNRX
