wifi issues after upgrading to macOS Ventura 13.3b

03/08/2023

Hi all,

My 2017 iMac 27" 5K has developed issues connecting to wifi or recognizing any networks, less than one day after upgrading it to the latest macOS Ventura 13.3 beta from a previous macOS Ventura 13 beta version. There were no wifi issues for about 6 hours last evening. Then, upon waking the 2017 iMac up this morning it had developed the connection and network recognition issues.

I have a two iMac workflow. A 2013 iMac 27" running macOS Sierra and the 2017 iMac 27" 5K. The 2013 iMac has no issues connecting to the wifi network. Nor do my iPad, two Apple TV units or my iPhone.

In the interim, I have hardwired the 2017 iMac to the internet via ethernet cable.

Can anyone address this issue?

Thanks.

Regards,

Dennis

well here is what happened today, 3/08/2023, several hours after I posted this issue here in the developers forum.

i restarted my 2017 iMac 27" 5K running macOS Ventura Version 13.3 Beta (22E7752300g) that I upgraded to yesterday then this morning I was having wifi connection issues. I noticed that my Settings--->General--->Software Update was indicating a new version of software was available. It looked like the same version that I had installed yesterday, but I went ahead and did the new macOS install anyway. Boom, wifi connection issues SOLVED.

Here are the two versions of macOS Ventura Version 13.3 Beta ( the first one is the one I installed yesterday and the second one is the version that corrected the wifi issues )

macOS Ventura Version 13.3 Beta (22E7752300g) = wifi connection issues macOS Ventura Version 13.3 Beta (22E5236f) = wifi connection issues resolved

Nicely done.

Dennis
