How can one disable external microphone while using a headset

Hi,


I'd like to disable the external microphone (headset microphone) and use my phone's internal microphone. At the same time, I want to be use my headphones (for audio output) in conjunction with the phone's internal microphone. Is it possible to do that?

Try looking into AVAudioSessionCategoryMultiRoute. I believe you can take device audio and send to headphones using that AVAudioSessionCategory.
