I have iPadOS17. When I choose to "Start assistive access" I seem to lose switch control. I would have expected to see it continue to work inside the apps. I was very much looking forward to "Assistive Access" reducing the number of clicks tied to switch controlled use of messages and other apps.
Hi there—thank you for reporting this! We'll investigate; Assistive Access should work seamlessly with VoiceOver, Voice Control, and Switch Control. :)
Thank for getting back to me. Another colleague of mine has also not been able to combine assistive access and switch. I also reported this through the feedback app.
If there is any trick or workaround to get them working together (even temporarily) I would appreciate it by early next week for an internal meeting with some executives.
