Hi,
We have been watching the latest WWDC videos and would like to get our website http://www.toongoggles.com indexed. We did a check of our logs and have not seen any traffic from a user agent containing "Applebot". The video mentioned that if you have a marketing, support, or privacy url set then the site should be a target for indexing. Our marketing URL is a different domain for business purposes but our privacy url (http://www.toongoggles.com/privacy-policy) and contact url (http://www.toongoggles.com/contact) both are set and would assume this would scrape the root domain.
Is there a way that we can tell the AppleBot to index our site manually? If not, how can we get this index performed.
Additionally, our site is built with dynamically loaded content (Angular JS) and for other bots we have built out support for escaped fragment which forward to static pages running on Phantom JS. Does the Applebot support these standard markups such as:
<meta name ="fragment" content="!">
Which would redirect to a static page such as:
http://www.toogoggles.com?escaped_fragment=/shows/67280/bernard/episodes/67290/golf
Or are their other tags that should be added?
We already use SmartBanners, use <title> and <description> tags and use <meta og:image content="...">. We do need to update hte SmartBanner to use our tg:// url sceme deep links in the next few days. Is there anything else necessary on this?
Thanks
James
