Hi,


Using Braintree and WordPress.


To validate the domain I need to upload apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association to .well-known on my domain.


I've done that and get: Domain verification with Apple failed. Please verify the file is available at the verification path and try again.


The file is definitely there. However if i try to download it via my browser I get a 403. But, if i placce the same file in a folder called Test it works fine. Same owner and exact same permissions.


Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Sounds like your web server is configured not to serve dotfiles. Here's a discussion to get you started; your solution will depend on whether you're using apache or some other server etc:
