watchOS 2 beta, Constant Restarts

From the perspective of a part-tme dev:

0) All of the below have been reported by multiple users in this forum...

1) With watchOS 2...BETA 2...

2) Restarts periodically, BETA 1 was ok.

3) Battery drains very quickly, BETA 1 was ok.

4) Haptic Feedback is broke, BETA 1 was ok.

5) Erratic paring issues during setup, required restart, BETA 1 was ok.

6) Several apps don't start, BETA 1 was ok.

7) iMessage is erratic, non working most of the time, locked up a couple times when receiving IMessage.

I knew what I was getting into, but I am surprised at some of these...

Fortuntately I imagine the devs at Apple are experiencing the same, so I bet the next week or two or three will move us in the right direction with improvements.

Same here, for me Beta2 is a nightmare. I know it's a beta and supposed i'll meet some slowdown, some reboot. But this release is useless, i can't even imagine testing anything with this release. My AW drain battery in half a day and reboot many time per hour.

Yes, the battery drain is incredible. When you can lliterally "watch" the battery drain, well I guess we know summer is upon us and the Apple devs have their mind on vacation.

Beta 2: Battery drains extremely quick. Watch was fully charged and used from 9am today. Near 12:00pm reached 0%. Just 3 hours and this is new record after beta 1.

The watch also restarted automatically frequently during above 3 hours. Even worse than beta 1.

I will use it for my trip from tomorrow. I can accept bugs but how can i accept no battery? >_<

I tried to stop send diagnostic data automatically to Apple and then the battery drain got much better instantly. Now it can hold more than 12 hours.

Also tried this, but no success. Battery drained from 7AM until 1PM.

Same issues here. The watch is virtually unusable. I'm well aware of betas and the issues they bring with them but this is a bit excessive for a beta 2

Yes, I agree with everyone, Beta 2 is awful. Can't even do testing!

I agree with everyone as well. What a headache!!! I hope a fix is issued soon. Love the tech, but if the OS kills everything, cant use the tech. I've tried all of the steps above and still in the same boat with everyone.

Definitely first stage Alpha.

Software this bad had to be released intentionally with motivation yet unknown.

It's still serves the purpose of stimulating the little gray cells!

Same here, I stopped testing our app because it's impossible to keep track since the watch either restars or freezes every hour and the battery drains in 3/4 hours.

I hope they release a new update ASAP because it's making testing apps IMPOSSIBLE.
