problem registering devices

Hi,

I have just registered a new device for testing - an iPhone 6. but the phone will not allow me to download and use the test app created.

I got the UDID from the system information as i don't want to sync the phone to this mac.

1. I presume the UDID from the systems information is ok to use?

2. If I plug this iphone into my mac will it automatically try to sync, or can I just check the UDID?

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Best regards,

Richard

The phone does not display the UDID anywhere in the user interface, and it is not available to apps, so the only way to get it is to connect it to a Mac. No, it will not sync automatically. You can use Xcode (Devices window) or iTunes to get the UDID once connected.

I can't load any photo here to show so can some one help I hope apple change and let us to load photos here and and small videos.

I have the same problem.

It is because we entered the UDID with upper case letters!

This is so f**king dumb!

And the dumber thing is that we cannot fix this in any way!

We cannot change the UDID.

We cannot add another one with lower case. It will say that it is duplicated.

If you disable the device first and then add, it will re-enable the one you disabled and KEEP THE DAM*N UPPER CASE LETTERS!

W*T*F, this is the most stupid bug I ever encountered.
