I'm currently submitting a new app on the appstore. The app is a dating app, so we manage user-generated content from pictures to discussions.
As for the 1.2 User-Generated Content guidelines. Here is the answer from Apple: We found in our review that your app includes user-generated content but does not have all the required precautions. Apps with user-generated content must take specific steps to moderate content and prevent abusive behavior.
Next Steps To resolve this issue, please revise your app to implement the following precautions:
- A method for filtering objectionable content
- A mechanism for users to flag objectionable content
So we plan to implement the following:
1. Users will have the ability to report inappropriate content in both messaging and profile sections.
2. We will moderate the flagged content
My question is:
Do we also have to add a NSFW model to automatically detect sensitive images before they get to be published ? (in order to be accepted on AppStore)
