Hi. I have an existing iPad app that allows pilots to upload their rosters to an online server, amongst other functionality.
I have created an iPhone app that allows them to view those rosters on the go.
The issue apple seems to be having is that the iPad app generates the login credentials for the iPhone app. However, once logged in, the iPhone app doesn't require the iPad app to function.
Does apple not allow companion (free) apps? I'm at a bit of a loss how to approach this problem. During submission, there is a field asking to provide login credentials if my app needs them. What is the point of this field if apple requires that they are able to create an account within the app itself?
Any thoughts please?
