After the upgrade from 15.0.1 to 15.1 yesterday, the video from the built-in camera on my M1 pro MacBook Pro 14“ has become extremely grainy. It’s definitely related to the macOS upgrade. I had several video calls just before the upgrade, and everything looked fine. However, immediately after the upgrade, the video is almost unusable.

I have also noticed this on M1 Pro 16 inch after the update. Let's hope Apple fix this in the next update, otherwise a lawsuit could be coming their way.

2 machines of co-workers having this issue. Glad i haven't installed the 15.1 update yet myself. All MBPs 14" with M1 Max.
At first I thought some hardware issue, maybe reboot will fix it. It didn't. Googled and saw this page. And, yes, I recently upgraded to 15.1 too.

same here with my 14-inch M1 Pro MBP after updating 15.1
