Apple Configurator 2: adding profile for Apple TV yielding persistent error

Hello All,

Me and a colleague are trying to add a profile to Apple TV. We connect C-to USB,

Each of us are getting this error on the Apple Configurator 2 page:

"Configurator requires user interaction to install the profile “XXXXXXX” on “Apple TV” because it is not supervised.

Tap Install on the device to continue installing the profile."

On the Apple TV, the profile appears and we tap the install bar, a warning page appears (for example global HTTP proxy) and we tap Install to continue, a final Install profile screen appears and we tap Install.

The Error listed above persists and we cannot get this window to close. We have left it for hours and this error pop up still remains. The only options are "Stop" and "Skip" and both stop the profile loading process. When we look at the profiles, the new profile does not appear.

Can anyone please help us??? Why is Apple Configurator 2 not acknowledging that we are taping the Install on the device to continue installing the profile.

Thanks to the community in advance!

I also just ran into this exact issue. I was able to resolve it by restoring the device through Apple Configurator.

It seems Apple Configurator said the devie was already prepared, but was not showing as supervised.
