I've signed up for a developer account through the macOS Developer Application. Scanned my ID and proceeded with payment of $98.99 (Received a payment confirmation email).
I then, went to my account on web at https://developer.apple.com/account and saw a card stating:
Purchase your membership.
To continue your enrollment, complete your purchase now
Your purchase may take up to 48 hours to process.
I had a few observations;
- Going into my account on web, it looks like my account is in "Pending" as seen in SS.
- Trying to build my app via Expo and when cli propmts me to signin to my apple account, I am encountering this error, which also is making me more suspicious about the state of my account:
Authentication with Apple Developer Portal failed!
You have no team associated with your Apple account, cannot proceed.
(Do you have a paid Apple Developer account?)
- On my bank transactions, I can see a purcahse from apple.com/BI...
Tho, the amount charged on my card($107.78) does not match amount of $98.99 that I see in the confirmation email I received.
I called the customer service and they confirmed my purchase but couldn't help me beyound that point and routed me to forums. Can you please confirm If my account is in good shape and an explanation of the charged amount descrepency and why the expo might be refusing my apple id auth.
