App Crashing iOS26

I have four apps currently deployed on the App Store. One of these apps crashes on launch when running on iOS 26, but functions as expected on iOS 18 and earlier versions. I am seeking to understand what changes in iOS 26 might be causing this issue.

When running the app in debug mode on devices with iOS 26 using Xcode 16.1, the app crashes.

The crash log references libobjc-trampolines.dylib, suggesting a potential issue with the Objective-C runtime.

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue?

What steps can I take to resolve this crash? Thank you for your assistance.

Please post a full Apple crash report for this failure. See Posting a Crash Report for advice on how to do that (normally an app crashing when run from Xcode won’t generate a crash report, but that post explains how to get one).

This issue occurred due to an outdated SDK in the app. It is likely that support for Objective-C was removed in iOS 26, resulting in the crash.

You mean an SDK from another third-party developer, right?

Well, that’s definitely not true; iOS 26 continues to support Objective-C development.

It’s hard to say why this SDK was having problems on iOS 26 without digging into it in a lot more detail. And I don’t think that’s justified given that you’ve already solved this in a good way, that is, by updating your third-party SDK.
