I'm not sure what I did but somehow I think I did it while purusing the icloud settings from my iphone.
Here's my question: I just opened my MacBook and everything on my desktop has disappeared.
Of course, I asked Google what happened and was advised via a similar question from an Apple Developer Form to delete all the content and settings from my iphone and then restore it from icloud. Ok, doing that now.......not going too well. In the mean time I found the contents of my desktop, on my harddrive. HD>users>mynamedfolder>icloud drive (archive).
Any ideas of what might have happened? and how do I put the contents of my desktop back on my desktop.
