Xcode26.1 ld: Assertion failed:function ObjCClassReadOnlyDataRef, file Atom.cpp, line 3292.

Any time you trip an assert in the linker, that’s automatically worth a bug report. Regardless of what you’re doing, the linker should either work or report a meaningful error. So, please file a bug about this.

One of my colleagues recently posted some advice on how to include a debug snapshot with your bug report, which will help with the investigation. Assuming that it doesn’t crash before generating the snapshot O-:

Hello, I also encountered the same problem. The log entries are exactly the same. My compiler is XCode 26.2. Could you please tell me how you resolved the compilation error issue with XCode 26.2? Thank you.

I can’t speak for a564033861, but from an Apple perspective it’s hard to track down whether we fixed this problem because they didn’t post their bug number )-: Given that, my advice to you is going to be the same as the original advice I gave them:

• Please file a bug.
• Ideally with a linker snapshot.
• Post the bug number here to make it easier on Future Quinn™.
