Over the past year, we dedicated substantial time, effort, and resources to successfully launch our application on the App Store. However, despite the fact that it took a full year for our app to be approved and listed, merely one month after its release, we unexpectedly received an email notification stating that our developer account had been suspended for one year due to alleged violations of clause 3.2(f) (related to fraudulent conduct), without any prior warning.
We hereby express our profound confusion and disappointment. As developers, we have never engaged in any improper or fraudulent activities. We have always firmly believed that all our actions were in strict compliance with Apple’s Developer Agreement and platform policies. We must ask: How could an application that required a full year of development and review be intended for fraudulent purposes?
What is even more distressing is that this abrupt account suspension has directly affected our team lead. Due to extreme stress, our lead was urgently admitted to the ICU following a sudden heart attack. As team members, we are deeply grieved and have been significantly impacted psychologically and emotionally by this incident. Now, our team lead has passed away. As the operations manager, I too am on the verge of ending my life. However, before doing so, I will expose Apple’s unjustified account suspension to the media. We have exhausted all options and resources—just as we were preparing to promote our newly launched app, the account was suspended. I will use my life to protest this unfair treatment.
We hereby appeal to Apple Inc. and the developer community to help clarify this misunderstanding and resolve the issue. We firmly believe that Apple should not make such unannounced and unsubstantiated account suspension decisions. As developers, we deserve the opportunity for clearer communication and explanation, rather than facing immediate termination without explicit justification.
