App Review Taking 12 Days Even After Expedited Review Request

Hello Apple Developer Support community,

I would like to ask for advice regarding my app review process.

For every new moderation/review submission, I usually have to wait around 7 days, which already feels quite long. However, for my current submission, I have now been waiting for 12 days, and this does not seem normal.

I have already requested an expedited review, but the submission is still waiting for review.

Could someone please advise what I should do in this situation? Is there any way to check why the review is taking so long or to request an update from Apple?

this does not seem normal

It's now a new norm. The wait time has been long since the end of the last year. In fact, it's getting worse though it's better than 15 years ago when the average wait time was 17 to 19 days.

Could someone please advise what I should do in this situation?

There is nothing that you can do other than to sit and wait quietly. I have two new boys waiting for review. I don't know when I get my turns.
