All TestFlight builds expired simultaneously — internal & external blocked, 422 filter[build] error

All TestFlight builds for my app expired at the same time, overnight, with no action on my side. New builds upload fine and show “Ready to Submit,” but:

  • Internal testers (and I) cannot install: “The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist.”

-Submitting for external review fails with 422: PARAMETER_ERROR.REQUIRED / filter[build].

Internal testing worked perfectly before and broke overnight. This appears to be a known recurring backend issue. All agreements, banking, tax, and export compliance are Active. DSA declaration is currently In Review.

I’ve opened a support case (aprox. 5 days ago, only automated reply so far). Has anyone resolved this, or can a DTS engineer help escalate? Bundle ID available on request.

Update: This issue has recurred. A new build expired on its own with ~85 days remaining, and uploading a new build now fails again with "There was an error processing your request. Please try again later." Both internal and external TestFlight are blocked. Support case 102920138778 (previously escalated) reopened. Has anyone found a permanent fix, or is this a known recurring backend bug?

I'm having the exact same issue. I tried uploading new builds, all expired after 30 minutes.

This has also happened to me. I was working on several apps and all of a sudden every build expired and now I'm stuck, even the new one that were a day old. I can't believe so many people are posting about this and there is no solution? I called apple and level 1 support escalated it to level 2 and now I wait for someone to get back to me.

Same issue - submitted a support ticket but it's been a week.

Same with my builds. On June 6, a new build was uploaded, and all previous builds were marked as “expired.” I can't assign the new build or any later builds to a test group; it gives an error "There was an error processing your request. Please try again later." No any other explanation. All compliance docs and tax is Active.

same here, I am unable to install app through test flight

There is an update on my case. The newly added builds are not expiring right now but nobody can install them either. This is the error return from the web, when I try to add the build for external users: (via console / network)

Talked to Apple about this. They said, there's nothing wrong on my end, the issue is escaleted to senior advisor, they'll provide a resolution.
