My Apple Ads account is on hold and I can't get past tax verification. Even after correcting my details and re-accepting the Terms of Service, I still get the same banner:
"Your campaigns are on hold because your tax information couldn't be verified. Make sure that your GSTIN and Legal Entity Name are correct."
I'm a sole proprietor registered for GST in India, and I've double-checked everything on my end:
- The GSTIN is entered correctly and shows as Active on the official GST portal.
- For a proprietorship, the GST "Legal Name" is the proprietor's personal name (not the trade name), and I've set the Legal Entity Name field to match it exactly.
- The registered address and state match the GSTIN.
My GSTIN was only registered a few days ago, so I suspect it may not have propagated to your tax validator when the check ran.
A few questions:
- Roughly how long does tax verification take once the details are correct?
- Is there any way to trigger a re-verification, or does it only run on a periodic batch cycle?
- Is there anything else I should check on my end?
