HTC Vive on iMac?

Is it possible to develop for HTC Vive on the iMac? My specs are as follows:
- OS X El Capitan
- iMac (Retina 5k, 27-inch, Late 2015)
- Processor: 4 GHz Intel Core i7
- Memory: 32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
- Startup Disk: Untitled
- Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 M395 2048 MB

If so, do I need to set up the motion trackers when debugging? I do not care about being able to walk in the room for a while. Is there a way to develop without the motion trackers and just run the game on editor for debugging purposes? I have seen people set up for PC's, but have not seen anyone try it on an iMac. Is this possible with iMac the same way as it is for PC's? Any help is appreciated!

The Vive needs at least one lighthouse to get position of the headset, otherwise it has no idea which way you're looking, but beyond that, your graphics card has nowhere near the power to drive the Vive.. you MIGHT get an empty grid to render fast enough, but nothing of substance.
