Everything has been updated. Countless reboots and reinstalls. Yet Xcode still won't open. Keep getting "Xcode quit unexpectedly dialog" with buttons to Reopen, Ignore, Report.
Any suggestions on what lingering file is killing Xcode on open?
Thanks!

My computer: Apple M2 Pro macOS 26.6.1 xcode 26.6 , xcode 27 beta 4
Same here. I already tried reinstalling Xcode but still not working
M3 MAX
Tahoe 26.6.2
I just want to get the updated Safari
Just got off the phone with Apple Developer Support. They had me execute the following commands from a Terminal Shell.
sudo rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Xcode/
sudo pkill -f Xcode
sudo pkill -f idb
sudo rm -rf /Library/Developer/PrivateFrameworks/CoreDevice.framework
sudo xcode-select --reset
sudo xcodebuild -runFirstLaunch
Xcode 27 now runs. If you're still on 26 then hopefully these commands will work for you as well. I had to update to 27 because Apple is not interested in helping you unless you have the latest versions.
