Words can’t truly explain this.

I started my app review on June 8th, gonna be almost 3 months now and still in the back and forth waiting to get reviewed.

Not here to bash or announce my frustration. I’ve been extremely patient, respectful and understanding.

I just wanna say, I now know and I will remember that Apple does not care about their developers and there is nothing that’ll ever convince me otherwise. I no longer have a goodwill for this company.

Thank you for your time.

One can easily understand your deception and appreciate your calm.

But to move forward, you have to analyse precisely the situation, from a reviewer perspective.

Which were the causes of the 3 rejections you mentioned in a previous post ?

Was it Guideline 4.3(b) each time ?

What category of app is it ? Is it in a crowded category ? If so, it may be difficult to pass after a first rejection.

Certain kinds of apps, such as dating, flashlight, sound effects, wallpaper, simple timers, and fortune telling, are well established on the App Store and we will not accept new submissions unless they offer a meaningfully different or improved experience.

What did you change to resubmit ? Did you explain those changes in the notes to reviewer (that usually helps).

Finally someone asking;

1st Submission on June 8th

Rejection 1: June 11th - A subtle yet valid UX issue, fixed that day itself and resubmitted.

Rejection 2: June 12th - 1st Guidelines 4.3(b) rejection.

The app is nuanced, so there were 2 accounts attached in the reviewer note with concisely explained details so they understand the nuance while reviewing the app as a whole.

The reviewer only logged into one account and rejected.

I resubmitted the same day clarifying this and that they needed to login to the other account to fully understand.

Rejection 3: June 24th - Guidelines 4.3(b) rejection again.

The reviewer only logged into one account again and rejected it.

At this point I heard about App Review Board and I thought that might be the way to do this because I clearly explained why previously but the reviewer still rejected.

So I made a App Review Board appeal.

3 weeks passes by no response, that's when I made my initial forum post asking how long does this process take.

At the same time, I booked a 1 on 1 session with Meet with Apple consultation.

I explained the situation, he understood the nuance and I asked if it'd be clearer if "I make a 3rd account and use it as primary to show the initial state and then attach the other 2 accounts to show the 2 other state + update the note" so that the nuance is understood and he said yes, and so that's what I did.

Resubmitted on July 21st.

Rejection 4: August 6th - Guidelines 4.3(b) was cleared but 2 new issues were stated.

Issue 1 was a simple clarification question. Issue 2 was a Apple's sandbox-side network error which had nothing todo with the app, just happening at an unfortunate time.

Replied back within the hour with the clarification.

No response for 12 days which now had me worried that I needed to "resubmit" the app to even trigger a review and not just a reply in the resolution center chat.

Because there is no UI indication on what's going on, the only way I know a review will happen is when I resubmit and it shows "Waiting for Review".

So I resubmitted on 18th August.

Its August 28th now and it's still sitting on "Waiting for Review".

It'll be almost 3 months soon.

Like I said, I will not bash apple but I hold the right to form my own opinion from the experience I've gone thru.

Just want to say I feel for you! We all seem to be going through something exceptional at the moment, but that's the longest and most frustrating journey I've read so far.

As I've said before I think something has recently gone seriously wrong. I just wish at the very minimum they would communicate what is happening.
