Unusually long "Waiting For Review" for update version 1.5

Hi everybody, I wonder if anyone else is having it take an unusually long time for an update to an established app to process/review.

I submitted version 1.1.5, a minor update to an app that had a history of approved releases. It’s been nearly two weeks and there has been no meaningful change in status or communication on the review.

The long delay is surprising, there’s nothing major in this release, just some minor improvements and fixes. Anyone else had similar review times recently? Is there anything I need to check in App Store Connect or is this just a long review queue?

Any feedback from developers who have recently submitted updates would be appreciated.

Yes. The delays started early this year. Originally it was new enrolments, new apps, and rejections. It's still mainly that. But recently I've started seeing the delays hit some established apps.

Yes I have two incremental updates that have been waiting for 1.5 weeks and a new app that has been waiting nearly 2 weeks at this point. I didn't have this issue a couple months ago.
