DUNS#/Registering as an Organization

The ramifications for registering as an individual if it's actually a company include:

• Having your company's applications all show up as written by that one employee who registered, in that one employee's name
• Having to eventually do the paperwork twice when you ask Developer support to fix your registration

I don't know what part of the registration process you're at, but when I had to register for a business account, I ended up talking to someone over the phone to verify everything.

Hi Mr CEO It’s frustrating that as a Singapore company we need to pay hefty fees to D&B for Apple’s required DUNS number before we can register a company developer account. Why must Apple insist for DUNS number especially for countries where getting a DUBS number isn’t free??? Google don’t I hope Apple could seriously review this policy which don’t serve any public interest at all. Regards

the post is old but am posting this update to share my recent experience with enrolling in an Organisation type of Developer account,many organizations has the DUNS ID ,but there might be some missing information that has to be updated , I had the same problem ,my location is in middle east , I contacted D&B via their support team and they created a case for me but I was not able to resolve the issue with there global branch ,the followup must be using support portal but i was blocked and couldnt open it ,because of my location (i guess) , anyways I looked up their regional branch DNBSAME GIRD (dnbsame.com) and made contact with the support team , they asked me to provide the legal documents of my organization and some other financial reports , they verified my documents and then shared it with Apple and afterwards the process went through to the next step of the enrollment . BTW D&B did this with out charges i hope this post will help other developers in this case .
