Swift Playground on iPadOS 27

It is quite easy to reproduce

Given that, I encourage you to file a bug about it. Make sure to include a sysdiagnose log taken shortly after reproducing the issue (if you file the bug using Feedback Assistant on your iPad, it should do that automatically).

Once you’re done, please post your bug number and I’ll do some more digging.

So we’re not sure what’s going on here, and we’re gonna use your bug (FB24936489) to investigate further.

Sadly, I’m unable to try this myself because none of the iPads I have easy access to are running iPadOS 27 (and I can’t update them for various reasons that I won’t discuss here). I’m working with some colleagues to try it out. However, it’s probably not a widespread issue because, if it were, we’d have seen a lot more complaints. So, yeah, a bit of a mystery right now.

One of my colleagues was able to reproduce this, so it’s not just you (-: I’ve passed that info along to the folks investigating your bug report (FB24936489).

is there any solutions for this , i updated my ipadOS to 27.2 public beta and wanted to try the swift playground app , but preview is not loading and when i tap on play it crases

is there any solutions for this

I’m not aware of any workaround. My reading of FB24936489 is that is something that Apple will need to investigate and fix.
