I am new to homekit however I am wondering if the framework provides a method for me to gather things such as how long my lights have been on or how often my sprinklers are running so that I can potentially get energy usage metrics for my own home. I know that one of the main benefits to homekit is security and privacy... however I am wondering if it is possible to gather the information via an app for your own home not neccessarily froma device provider level.
Sorry if its not clear ...however I am looking to basically get energy usage data for my home based on how often a device is on and off.
