xcode for 10.11.6?

a) Visit the Xcode wiki to learn which versions are compatible (use their 'Show/Hide' links to expand for each main version, etc.)

b) Use the 'Resources' link above, then 'Downloads', then scroll down and hit 'more dev downloads'

c) Search there - restrictions per version may apply depending on your goals

...note, access to more downloads may require a paid Developer Program account. Use the 'Programs' link above if needed.

I am facing the same issue. Do you got any solution to it? Please share.

It looks like maybe a couple of the links moved within Apple's webpage, first off this link [https://developer.apple.com/download/more] no longer works, but this one does: https://developer.apple.com/download/all/

This is the specific download to XCode 10.1: https://download.developer.apple.com/Developer_Tools/Xcode_10.1/Xcode_10.1.xip that supposedly should work with my 2015 Mac still using High Sierra.

It's odd tho, I had to go through way more agreements and verifications just to post this comment, ha!
