I had a good experience with the earlier betas, but since 4 my performance has steadily gone down. Now I can barely make it through 5 hours. I have rebooted etc.
Anybpdy else have that experience?

Seems about the same as before, 18 hours until 10% power alert (running Activty Digital face with both the Fantastical large complication and Heart Rate icon complication). I do not have the Siri face as an option at all, I think that's the power hog.
I am using the Siri face, the most compelling new feature. But I have been using it all along.
Odd. Is there a way to monitor power hogs as you can in macOS?
Beta 5 seemed to rectify the situation for my watch. However, since the new beta was released battery life is f*cked. Down to 25% by 9am this morning (watch on by around 6am).
traveling, so no easy mid day charge. Seem to get about 5-6 hours.
Beta 7 day 1 is best yet! 9 hours on, including 1/2 hr on walk with GPS and it's still claiming 91% !
DP7 with no apps installed is much better, but still not up to the relese level I had on a gen 1 watch.
But I am a real fan of the Siri watch face.
Hi HStriepe,
We are interested in seeing logging from your device if you're seeing bad battery life with the Siri Face. Can you take a look at the directions here:
https://download.developer.apple.com/iOS/watchOS_Logs/Battery_Life_Logging_Instructions.pdf
Enable the power logging, reproduce the issue, take a co-sysdiagnose, and attach it to a new bug filed here. Once we have logs, we can investigate what you're seeing.
Thanks!

Came back from a trip and fully recharged the watch over night. I then rebooted and used the Siri Watch face all day.
I am happy to report that battery consumption is way down. I am still at 29% at end of day. This is as good as it gets with the gen 1 Watch!
Indicated
Usage: 2:22 hrs
Standby: 13:39 hrs
