Hello App Review,

Our first iOS app has been Waiting for Review without moving to In Review. We already answered a Guideline 2.1 Information Needed request and resubmitted.

Expedited review was requested around Oct 15. Developer Support case 103002365071 was opened Oct 20 for a status update; we only received the automatic acknowledgement.

Review notes, contact phone, and a screen recording for the earlier 2.1 reply are already in App Store Connect / Resolution Center. No login is required to test the app.

Could someone please check whether this submission needs anything from us, or whether it can be moved into review? We can answer the same day.

A 12-day wait is longer than usual, but “Waiting for Review” means Apple has received the submission and hasn’t started reviewing it yet. Since you’ve already replied to the 2.1 request and asked for expedited review, I’d keep the current submission in place rather than remove and resubmit it; cancelling a waiting submission removes it from the queue, and resubmitting starts the review process over.

You’ve already opened a support case, so I’d follow up on that same case with the submission ID, the dates you submitted and replied, and a quick confirmation that there are no new messages or missing items in App Store Connect. An expedited request isn’t guaranteed; Apple says it depends on availability and demand. If the status is still Waiting for Review and there’s nothing outstanding in Resolution Center, there may simply be nothing else to change on your side until review starts.
