Waiting More Than 15 Days for an App Review -- Is This Fair to Developers?

I submitted my app for review on October 6 and waited until October 18 without receiving a review. During that time, I had to introduce new features, so I was forced to reject the existing submission and prepare an updated version. And today its Oct 25, still no response...

My question to Apple is simple: Why are developers paying $99 per year when we have to wait more than 12 days just to get an app reviewed, no communication?

As an independent developer, I invest my own time, money, and effort into building apps. Delays like these affect launch plans, business opportunities, and motivation. The most frustrating part is the lack of communication. Why aren't support requests being answered with meaningful updates? Why are developers left waiting without knowing what is happening?

We understand that Apple needs to maintain quality, security, and App Store guidelines. But that doesn't mean developers should be left waiting indefinitely without transparency or accountability.

Apple, independent developers deserve better. We need faster reviews, clear timelines, responsive support, and basic respect for the time and effort we put into building apps for your platform.

Please improve the review process and start treating developers as partners, not just annual membership subscribers.

Is anyone else experiencing app review delays of 15 days or longer?

Good Luck! Im waiting september for over three weeks for only one build. Now waiting since 15 october, no answer from apple after several support tickets.

i have submitted on September 29th and a couple rejections later, i resubmitted on October 14th and finally for another rejection yesterday on the 24th. The funny part is was just a quick fix rejection about the monetized subscription, that i fixed it within 15 minutes and resubmitted it and its now back into "waiting for review".

My thought is for the engineer that rejects it, why not give a timeframe for the developer to fix the problem so in case he resubmits the solution, that engineer can continue looking into the app so that they can see the fix and finalize the app. its just upsetting to put that app back into "waiting for review" to wait longer again.

i agree with you. We pay for the developer fee which is a yearly fee and i cant even promote my app. i am already live on Google. I developed a Christmas app so my app, as an independent developer, who also contributed his own money, the app will be useless after November. I will barely have enough time to promote it to Apple users to download it.
