Any word on when Swift Playground for iPad will be upgraded to iOS 27 SDK?

I can’t answer your direct question because there’s been no announcement of a timeline for that [1].

Looking at the history:

  • Support for the iOS 26 SDK arrived 6 months after iOS 26 shipped.
  • There was no release that supported the iOS 18 SDK O-:
  • Support for the iOS 17 SDK arrived 8 months after iOS 17 shipped.

All of these were too late for the corresponding year’s Swift Student Challenge )-:
