I'm enrolling in the Apple Developer Program as an individual, with my Apple Account set to Germany. In the Apple Developer app, the identity check only let me choose a driver's license. Neither my passport nor my German national ID card could be selected.
I submitted my German EU-format driver's license, and the result was "ID Verification Rejected." There's no option to try again in the app. I've already reached out to Developer Support.
Has anyone in Germany run into this? I'd be grateful to hear how it was resolved, for example whether Support reset the check or accepted a passport instead.
