On an Apple Watch Series 4-5, our app receives no recorded accelerometer samples during charging. Repeating the query for the same interval after disconnecting the charger also returns nil. Recording without the charger produces samples. An HKWorkoutSession remains running during the unsuccessful test, and live motion collection works while charging.
Is this expected behavior or a known limitation? If supported, what conditions must be met?
