Title: Two iOS Apps Stuck Waiting for Review – Multiple Expedited Requests and Support Cases – Can Anyone Help?
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone here, particularly an Apple engineer or another developer who has experienced something similar, might be able to offer some advice.
I'm the developer and business owner behind WhyDrive, a new UK taxi-booking platform operated by Vamalio Technologies Ltd.
We have two applications awaiting App Store review:
WhyDrive Customer App: Waiting for Review since 27 October 2026 at 7:06 PM.
WhyDrive Driver App: Waiting for Review since 28 October 2026 at 10:26 PM.
As of 4 November, neither application has progressed, and we have received no clear explanation for the delays.
I fully appreciate that Apple needs to conduct thorough reviews, and I have no objection to that process. However, these two applications are essential to launching our business.
What I've already tried:
Submitted multiple expedited review requests.
Contacted Apple Developer Support repeatedly.
have had 2 separate phone calls 45 mins and 30 minutes and still no further on.
Requested clarification on whether anything is preventing the reviews from progressing.
Asked whether the matter can be escalated or discussed directly with someone from App Review.
Unfortunately, despite these efforts, I still have no meaningful update or indication of when either application might be reviewed.
The delays are preventing us from launching a service that we have invested considerable time and money developing.
My questions are:
Has anyone else experienced both their customer-facing and driver-facing applications being delayed simultaneously?
Is there an effective way to escalate an App Review delay when expedited requests and Developer Support enquiries have not resolved it?
Can an Apple engineer advise whether there is another appropriate channel to investigate this?
Is there any way to establish whether an application is genuinely in the review queue or whether something is preventing it from progressing?
I'm not asking for either application to bypass Apple's review requirements. I simply want them to be reviewed, or to be told what needs addressing.
Any advice or assistance would be genuinely appreciated.
Thank you.
