I have been unable to find the download for xcode 9 for ios and need a link to the download if possible.

There is no such thing as Xcode for iOS and all development for iOS occurs on a mac running macOS, what you're looking for is Xcode 9 which run on macOS and nothing else https://developer.apple.com/download/


Now if you're looking for playgrounds to learn swift on the mobile device visit the App Store and download Playgrounds for iOS.


Also if you're looking for an older version of iOS SDK under Xcode then install Xcode, open preferences, components and select the SDK you're looking for.

Use the Mac App Store application on your mac to find and download Xcode 9, which includes supported SDKs. Note otherwise that the SDKs are not available for separate downloading.
