UIWebView problem in iOS11

in my app i have this behaviour too,
in 10.3.3 is works fine
in 11.0.1 its still faulty
i found many developers, eg from Cordova main project, who face the same problem..
did apple made an announcement about this subject?
they added drag drop and messed up the dropdown boxes,

some developer fixed their apps changing UIWebView to WKWebView..

but i will wait for more information/reaction from apple

Yes, I have seen this issue as well. Please send a bugreport to Apple. I fear only Apple can fix this.

I face the same issue with iOS 11.0.3. Do we have any work a round with UIWebview ?

I filed a bug with Apple as well. Same problem. We have angry users calling 24/7 right, saying usability completely ruined. Then upgraded to use WKWebView with another disaster to follow due to many other issues, among others no cookie (with xhr) support, no file:// support and other random errors - some http calls related to image uploading fails.

After upgrading to WKWebView we have decided to downgrade again to UIWebView. This means we have the issues you are describing here, and some very angry users.

We have no issues in other webkit based products, that is Chrome, Safari, Android web views etc. Only WKWebView not compliant, and UIWebView broken.

Hoping for a fix, otherwise we will have to recommend our users to change to buy Samsung or other Android equipment, as we have several companies that depend on our app for everyday operation.

Two days ago I have update my iPad with iOS 11.1 and in my iMac with xCode 9.1.

Starting from that moment my app based on UIWebView is not more working fine.

After few minutes of work, the screen is not update by scrolling the view.

By calling a link,, just for example "Apple.com", the page is updated, but when scrolling up the view remain blank.

This happens on all the site I open.

To solve I have to switch off and then on the iPad, but after few minutes the problem arise again.

Someone have a idea ow to solve thi annoying problem ?

Partially solved...by downgrading back to UIWebView.

WKWebView at the moment seems we have to avoid it.

With UIWebView my app works well again-

Tested combos bug today using UIWebView.

the issue seems to be fixed on iOS 11.2 Beta 2!

Can you please confirm that UIWebview issue is fixed in iOS 11.2 Beta.

To fix this which version of XCode you used? Do we need to use Xcode 9.2 beta version ?
