After installing xcode from the store and verifying the install was successful, when I return to the App store it is telling me to install xcode again, even though xcode is present in my applications folder. Since the store doesnt beleive I have xcode installed, every time an update is released I have to remove the old xcode and install the new one from the store again.
I am running xcode 9.0.1 with MacOS 10.13.1 beta, but I have coworkers running MacOS 10.13 with xcode 9 and MacOS 10.12.6 with xcode 8.3.3, who are also running into this issue
Is there a way to make it so that xcode shows as installed in the appstore?
