Hi, I was adviced by the Apple review team that my app would be more suitable as a web app. What I would like to know is how to distribute the app. Would the user have to create a shortcut to the domain name, or is there a way of sending a link that would automatically pin the web app icon to the home screen.

Hi,

There is no specific distribution required apart from sharing URL to page. And you can have some instructions about "Add to Home Screen"

So this means each user will have to manually pin the web URL to there Home Screen and the files will be hosted the same as a normal website would be.
