A lot of people are complaining about these logs, which I am having as well in all my apps since I upgraded to Xcode 9 / iOS 11.

Could someone please briefly explain what this error is, why is it appearing and how to remove it, if possible?

To start, read this thread.

Beyond that, it’s important to realise that this

ENOTCONN
does not necessarily mean that anything has gone wrong. Closed TCP connections are expected in all versions of HTTP. So, unless there’s some other symptom associated with this error, my recommendation is that you ignore it.

I am having this same problem.

The issue is the console is being flooded with these making it hard to see my log messages without a lot of scrolling.

My solution to that problem is to view the system log using the Console utility, which allows you to filter out noise like this (or, better yet, filter in the messages you care about).

These really require a disable switch. Currently for my application there is a near 1:1 ratio between TIC messages and my real messages.

ALternately, provide a regular expression search in the console output filter. Then they could be easily filtered.

These are both fine suggestions IMO. If you want to get them seen by the folks who have the power to enact change, my recommendation is that you put each in an enhancement request.

Please post your bug numbers, just for the record.

I filed ER #47072264 for this issue.

These messages are many, and still exist in Xcode 10.1 compiled for iOS 12.0
