1 week expiry for XCODE APP on phone

Question

Hi,

I have developed an APP for a client. However, he wants to show this to a few people before releasing onto the Mac App store.

Currently te APP has a one week life on his phone and then it disappears. He will be travelling a fair bit so would like to have on his phone permamnently until such time that he asks for it to be relased on the APP store.

Say what? iOS apps are not released via the Mac App Store.

There is no dev-related provisioning scheme that is permanent.

Free provisioning (no paid developer account) is good for one week.
TestFlight distribution (via Xcode and a purchased developer account) is good for 28 days.
Local/ad-hoc installs (via Xcode and a purchased developer account), to a device registered in the Member Center, are good for max one year, but not longer than time left on the dev's annual paid account. Apps via the store are re-signed by Apple and never expire.

Xcode is free to download via the Mac App Store, but doing so alone won't help.

You and/or your client would need to purchase a Developer Program account to leverage anything beyond the 1 week profiles afforded via free provisioning.
