Xcode compile time too long

Hello,

I need help to figure out a solution to this problem because Apple support hasn’t responded since almost 3 months. Unpleasantly surprising that a reputed brand like Apple has such mediocre developer support. Just in case any Apple support staff are reading this, the Bug ID is 33828970.

Version 9.2 beta (9C34b)
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011)
macOS HighSierra version 10.13.1 (17B48)

Every time I compile a program in Xcode it takes atleast 7 minutes to simulate the application. Around 90% of attempts, the program doesn’t even compile inspite of generating a successful build. Common error messages that show up are the following :
Timed out waiting for the simulator application for iphonesimulator to become ready
Could not attach to pid : "1050"
Failed to initiate service connection to simulator

Can anyone please help me ?

Warm regards.

I have this problem too. I have deleted and re-downloaded Xcode a few times but still get the exact same problem.

I also have a problem where xcode quits about once an hour, usually as I'm typing something. I have sent reports every time this happened.

Been like this for a couple of months and Apple haven't done anything about it. Too busy counting all their money that they dont pay tax on.

I am not 'appy

Geoff
